Wing Chun shot - Why Every shot Must Kill!

Not my words, but those of Grandmaster Leung Ting as he spoke of Wing Chun punches in seminars organized throughout Europe.

Of course, this does not mean in the literal sense, every shot must kill Wing Chun is intended target, but the message could not be clearer, more obvious and it is important that all students should know and remember.

Self-defense requires that you can hit hard - and if necessary - to strike first. Wasting no time, no second chance - just hit hard and make sure it does the job was sent to do.

Many students mistakenly think Ving Tsun Wing Chun strikes depends on quantity rather than quantity - it's not hard to hit, it is striking lots and overwhelm your opponent.

And yes, there is an element of that - when you have someone on the defensive so that you better not let them out - never give an attacker, someone trying to hurt you a second chance.

So you can be sure that every Wing Chun punch you throw the count, the damage is not the intention with the mindset that "every shot must kill!"

He returns to the calendar

Timing is everything - precision strike hit hard by. In fact most of the Wing Chun students mistakenly think the time is landing his punch. Not much, much more than that.

Electricity production elsewhere - get perfect timing to land his first strike when the front foot hits the floor - landing his blow with the weight of the body and not just your arms.

It is the mentality

Have you ever looked around the class and students chatting while running through technical, bags and cushions hit while looking around and sees relaxation with your technique?

It is a matter of attitude and approach.

You need to train with the right mindset, you have to train with intent and pads and bags with everything you have.

This is different from being rude or hurt their partners. This is practice and training as if your fighting for your life - if you had to climb power ... so it's just a case forward, not pull his punches.

Intention and an attitude of "serious" is essential.

You return to training

Over the years I have lost count of the loss of time have asked several exercises to do x, y, z best. Students in search of secrets, gathering as much information as possible ... but not the formation of what they know.

The best way to improve is to drill and drill some more, and more ... only when it is already hitting many "things" should start looking for ways to improve.

What's the point of seeking more knowledge before you apply their existing knowledge and paid with a little blood, sweat and tears!

His Wing Chun punch should be fast, should be accurate and should be difficult. You must have the power to end the fighting.

In the words of Grandmaster Leung Ting - "Every shot must kill!".

Summarizing the power to act and the intention must have when the shot - it's all about training!sho
